How to document packaging so your sale is fully protected

The safest seller handoff is one you can prove clearly. Before you ship a phone or other high-value device, record one continuous video that shows the device condition, confirms it works, shows exactly what goes into the parcel, and captures the final drop-off in the Easybox or courier locker.

Begin the video before the device is inside the box. Show the front, back, sides, corners, camera area, ports, and any existing scratches or marks. If the listing mentions accessories, show each included accessory clearly so there is no confusion later.

Turn the device on during the recording and show core functions that matter for the sale: screen response, charging, cameras, buttons, speakers, connectivity indicators, and any condition details promised in the listing. For phones, also show that account locks are removed when appropriate, but avoid recording private messages, passwords, payment cards, or personal files.

Keep the video running while you wrap the device, add padding, include declared accessories, close the box, and apply the shipping label. The goal is to make it obvious that the same working device shown at the beginning is the one being sealed for shipment.

Continue recording until the parcel is placed into the Easybox or courier locker and the door is closed. If you receive an on-screen confirmation, receipt, QR code result, or tracking update, capture only the shipment confirmation details needed for proof and avoid exposing unrelated personal information.

Save the original video without cuts, filters, or edits until the order is completed and the buyer confirms everything is fine. A continuous original recording is more useful to support than separate clips that do not prove the full chain from working device to sealed package to handoff.

Useful information

Use good lighting and keep the label, box, device, and accessories in frame.

Do not expose passwords, full payment details, private notifications, or unrelated personal data in the video.

Keep the tracking receipt and the original video until the order is closed without dispute.
