A lot of transaction risk shows up first in chat. Safe communication habits reduce both fraud exposure and later disagreement about what was promised.

If you agree on price, included accessories, shipping method, or condition disclosures, keep those details stated clearly in-platform instead of assuming both sides remember them.
You should not share passwords, one-time verification codes, or private financial credentials in marketplace chat. Legitimate support does not need that information in conversation form.
Urgency, emotional pressure, and constant requests to move the discussion to another platform are common signs that you should slow down rather than speed up.

Clear written terms make later support work much easier.
If the conversation feels unsafe, report it before the deal progresses.
