How to recognize a high-risk listing
Not every risky listing is an obvious scam. Many problematic listings look normal until you compare the details closely.

Be cautious when photos are blurry, stock-like, heavily cropped, or inconsistent with the description. Vague condition language, missing storage details, and no mention of defects on used electronics are also warning signs.
Pressure to pay quickly, refusal to answer direct questions, refusal to use platform checkout, and sudden changes to item details are common signs that the deal needs extra caution.
A price that is dramatically below market does not automatically mean fraud, but it should trigger more verification. If the explanation for the low price is weak or keeps changing, do not ignore that signal.
